Marine Fabrication & Pipe Spooling Services in the UAE
Stainless steel pressure vessels, tanks and steel structures, and pipe fabrication, spooling, renewal and installation for marine and industrial systems — measured in place, welded to procedure and pressure tested.
The service
Measured on board, not built to a clean drawing
Marine and plant fabrication is mostly renewal rather than new build. A line wastes from the inside until a pinhole appears, a support cracks from vibration, a tank needs a modification the original drawing never anticipated. The work is measured where it sits, fabricated to fit what is actually there, and installed around equipment that cannot be moved — a different discipline from building to a clean isometric in a shop with unlimited access.
We fabricate and install piping for fuel, firewater, lube oil and chemical service, chilled water and steam heating coils, and ballast pump suction and discharge lines. A renewal covers the survey, cutting out the failed section, making spools to suit the run as it exists, welding to procedure, pressure testing and reinstating supports, coatings and insulation so the repair does not become next year's failure point.
Structural work covers frames, brackets, supports, foundations and repairs around installed machinery, along with stainless steel pressure vessels and tanks built to drawing — including the mounting frames and saddles that finish a pump or engine rebuild or carry a calorifier.

What is pipe and steel fabrication?
Pipe and steel fabrication is cutting, forming, fitting and welding metal into the spools, supports, tanks and structures a plant or vessel needs — worked from a drawing, a sketch, or measurements taken on site where no drawing exists.
The work covers pipe spools and small-bore runs, brackets, frames and supports, tanks and pressure vessels, and repairs to existing steelwork. Where a component has to fit equipment already installed, it is measured in place first.
Fabrication runs alongside the mechanical and electrical trades in the same workshop — see about Best Anchor Marine Services.
Scope of work
Fabrication and piping scope
From a single bracket to pressure vessels and complete piping systems, fabricated and installed by the same team that surveyed the job.
Pressure vessels and tanks
— stainless steel, built to drawing and pressure tested
Steel structures
— frames, brackets, supports, foundations and machinery seats
Pipe spool fabrication
— made to the measured run rather than the superseded drawing
Pipe renewal and installation
— cut out, fit, weld, test and reinstate
Marine piping systems
— fuel, firewater, lube oil, cooling, sanitary and chemical service
Ballast piping
— pump suction and discharge lines, including wasted sections found at survey
Chilled water and steam
— plant piping and steam heating coils
Finishing
— supports, coatings, insulation and corrosion protection reinstated

When to call us
What usually triggers a fabrication or piping job
Renewal work tends to announce itself. These are the findings that bring us in, and the ones worth acting on before a survey or a sailing date forces the issue.
Pinholes or weeping at a low point
— internal wastage that will not stop at one repair clamp
Wall thickness readings below limits
— measured at survey, with a renewal length to plan
Cracked or missing pipe supports
— vibration loading the welds instead of the hangers
Corroded flanges and seized fasteners
— joints that will not be made up again as they are
A tank or vessel needing modification
— new connection, new mounting or a changed duty
Machinery with no proper seat
— a rebuilt pump or motor sitting on an improvised frame
Leaks after a previous repair
— a fit-up problem rather than a material problem
Insulation soaked and staining
— a line losing water under the cladding for months
How the work runs
How a piping renewal runs
A renewal is only as good as the measurement it was made from, so the survey stage matters more here than it does on new build work.
01
Survey and measurement
The failed section is surveyed in place and the run measured as it actually sits — including the obstructions, the supports and the equipment nobody can move.
02
Spool fabrication
Spools are made to suit the existing run rather than the original drawing, which has usually been overtaken by modifications made on board.
03
Cut out and fit
The failed section is removed and the new spools fitted around installed equipment, with temporary support where the line needs holding.
04
Welding and pressure testing
Welding is carried out to procedure and the line is pressure tested before it returns to service.
05
Reinstatement
Supports, coatings and insulation are reinstated, so the repaired section is not the one that fails first next time.
Applications
Fabrication that finishes the rest of the work
A good deal of our fabrication exists to complete a job that started somewhere else: a mounting frame for a rebuilt pump set, a saddle for a modified calorifier, a duct transition for a bank of finned elements, a seat for a motor whose feet no longer line up after a change of frame size. They are small items, but they are often what decides whether a repair completes on schedule or waits another week.
Larger scopes cover tanks, pressure vessels and full piping systems, fabricated and installed to the requirement of the vessel or plant they serve — and surveyed, welded, tested and reinstated by the same team rather than handed between trades.

Before you enquire
What to send with a fabrication enquiry
For renewal work, photographs of the installation and the failure tell us more than a specification does — and they let us bring the right material to the survey.
Photographs
— of the run, the failure and the equipment around it
Material and size
— pipe material, diameter and schedule, or vessel material and capacity
Service
— what the line carries, and its working pressure and temperature if known
Drawing
— where one exists, along with any modifications made since it was issued
Access and timing
— vessel or site location, and when the system can be taken offline

If there is no drawing, we measure on site
We will confirm what can be fabricated, how it would be installed and what it costs. Send photographs of the run and we will tell you what the survey needs to cover.
